Our story
Over twenty years of education, healthcare, and love
Two decades of meals, therapy, wheelchairs, classrooms, and school days for hundreds of children.
How it started
A classroom you can actually get into
For a child with a disability, the barrier is rarely ability. It's a doorway too narrow for a wheelchair, a bathroom no one can use, a bus that doesn't come, a therapy appointment a family can't afford. Remove those barriers and children thrive.
Anokhee founded Learn to Love with a vision to bring education, healthcare, and love to children who were being overlooked. Growing up between the United States and India, where much of her family lives, she saw how much a child's future could depend on whether the right support happened to exist for them.
She began raising money for SEC and IAPACW, two organizations already doing this work well and already trusted by the families they served. In 2005 it became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we've funded the same schools and the same children ever since, long enough to watch students move from classrooms to vocational training to their first jobs.

How we work
Small team, direct impact
We're a small volunteer team, and we keep it that way on purpose. Because we operate with a zero-overhead policy, every cent donated goes to children in need, not to salaries, offices, or fundraising costs.
We don't run the schools ourselves. Our partners do that, and they do it well. What we do is fund what they can't: the meals, the therapists, the wheelchairs, the buses, the buildings. It's why every cent donated to Learn to Love goes the extra mile for the children we serve.
